High Voltage Training Simulator

VR Training for Electrical Safety and High-Voltage Work

Immersive training simulations for substations, electrical switching, isolation and high-risk energy environments.

7DX creates VR training that helps learners rehearse electrical procedures and recognise hazards before entering a live or restricted environment. The simulation can combine procedural sequencing, equipment familiarisation, decision points, feedback and performance data.

Documented high-voltage training experience

7DX developed an immersive learning simulation for high-voltage substation switching procedures. The experience allowed learners to explore equipment, practise a controlled sequence and prepare for work that cannot be safely or easily reproduced for routine training.

Simulation capabilities

  • Procedure and switching sequences
  • Hazard recognition
  • Equipment and site familiarisation
  • Decision and milestone tracking
  • Facilitated debrief and analytics

Relevant electrical and energy applications

Depending on the organisation and subject-matter validation, relevant applications can include:

  • High-voltage and substation familiarisation
  • Electrical switching procedure rehearsal
  • Lockout/tagout and isolation practice
  • Electrical hazard and arc-flash awareness
  • Power and energy site inductions
  • Data-centre electrical operations and restricted-area familiarisation

These are application examples, not claims that every scenario listed has already been delivered by 7DX. Each simulation is scoped with the client’s authorised electrical and safety experts.

Build from verified procedures

We translate approved procedures and expert knowledge into an interactive simulation, then validate the sequence, feedback and learning outcomes with the people responsible for the work.
